Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliation
- Analyze financial data to support business decision-making and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations across multi-state operations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Prepare detailed financial statements and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain robust internal controls and documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record in month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
