Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and payroll reconciliation.
- Conduct internal audits and bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial reporting processes and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced), and financial software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines consistently and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
