Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records and transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and vendor payments.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end reviews and tax preparation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger functions, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle complex financial data accurately.
