Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate reconciliation.
- Assist in the coordination of annual audits and tax filings with external partners.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to support organizational growth.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost reduction.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and software usage.
- Streamline accounting processes to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
