Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Analyze financial data to produce accurate reports and variance commentary
- Optimize accounts payable/receivable processes for maximum efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead internal audits and support external audit processes
- Implement process improvements using financial software (QuickBooks/SAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record in month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
