Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are coded and paid within terms.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and financial audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure timely and accurate weekly payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ERP systems (SAP/NetSuite a plus).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
