Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare, analyze, and present complex financial statements and reports to senior management.
- Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Conduct thorough financial audits and reconciliations for various accounts and bank statements.
- Ensure full compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecast future financial performance.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
