Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and general ledger
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax filings
- Maintain financial systems and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
