Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
