Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for departmental planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls across all financial activities
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial reviews
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial statement analysis
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
