As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial health, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with regulations while enjoying the financial freedom of a reliable weekly paycheck.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare detailed monthly reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and process expense reports efficiently.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal accounting regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
