Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting for executive leadership
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple business entities
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Lead quarterly audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and audits
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring accounting teams
- Oklahoma CPA license or active pursuit required
