Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain internal controls and implement process enhancements
- Prepare management reports and executive dashboards
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing and reconciliations
