Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end closing processes with reconciliations across 10+ accounts
- Lead tax preparation and compliance for 15+ corporate clients
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows with automation optimization
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff through training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years experience
- CPA certification or active CPA candidacy required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience implementing financial software systems
