Responsibilities
- Execute weekend general ledger reconciliations and verify account balances with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and operational summaries.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and supporting schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal financial controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize accounts payable and receivable workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
