Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all client portfolios
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Lead audits and coordinate with external tax professionals
- Mentor junior accounting staff through complex financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven ability to manage month-end/quarter-end closing cycles
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with remote work and self-directed project management
