Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting controls and SOX compliance procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance accounting efficiency
- Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech or fintech
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Weekend shift availability (Sat-Sun, 8am-5pm PST) required
