Responsibilities
- Manage monthly/quarterly financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliation activities
- Prepare detailed budget forecasts and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Coordinate external audit requirements and tax compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
