Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity accounts and intercompany transactions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax compliance
- Forecast and model financial scenarios for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state tax regulations (FL/IL focus)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong remote collaboration and communication abilities
