Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals during examinations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software platforms
- Maintain accurate financial records in cloud-based systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
