Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) for leadership review.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance filings, including state and local taxes in Florida.
- Perform audits and variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to streamline financial workflows and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
