Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-month and year-end financial close processes with precision and accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Perform internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvement.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
