Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and optimize accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
