Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with weekend deadlines
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles during off-peak hours
- Conduct weekend month-end close procedures and reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement internal controls for weekend financial operations
- Collaborate with weekday team via digital handover protocols
- Generate weekend financial reports for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat-Sun 8AM-4PM)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit readiness
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Oakland Bay Area residency preferred
