Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes with weekend-specific deadlines
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with weekend reconciliation tasks
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial operations
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
- Maintain digital and physical financial record systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Weekend shift availability (Friday-Sunday 6am-2pm MST)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
