As a weekend-shift accountant, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our clients' financial health while working Monday-Friday 10 AM-6 PM. Our modern office features collaborative spaces and cutting-edge accounting software to support your success.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews for client portfolios
- Prepare tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to senior management
- Lead month-end reporting packages for diverse client industries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance understanding
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with financial reporting and audit procedures
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
