Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting during weekend shifts
- Reconcile complex GL accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and KPIs
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during weekends
- Implement and maintain internal controls for weekend accounting operations
- Mentor junior accountants on weekend-specific procedures
- Optimize accounting workflows using SAP and advanced Excel techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Expertise in GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and solve problems autonomously
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
