Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee weekend-specific month-end close procedures ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during weekend engagements for external compliance reviews
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
