Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for assigned portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with audit-ready documentation
- Lead reconciliation of high-volume accounts and intercompany transactions
- Develop and implement process improvements using accounting software (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain compliance with SOX controls and GAAP standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff on weekend shift procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
