Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Compliance: Assist in tax preparation, audits, and ensure regulatory compliance for the organization.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for financial process improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve financial goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to manage large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
