Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for senior leadership review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate client invoicing.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budgets to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
