Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 100% accuracy focus
- Prepare complex tax returns and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost optimization opportunities and trends
- Lead audit preparations and liaise with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP compliance and regulatory knowledge
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
