Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate reports for stakeholders and executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit readiness
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
