Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure all filings are completed on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management for cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-growth environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
