Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, including daily journal entries and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
