Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entry, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
