Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for leadership review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment execution.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
- Maintain up-to-date fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and auditing principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
