Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile accounts to guarantee data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports and variance analysis for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
