Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Perform internal audits and reconcile bank statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
