Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process and ensure accurate tax deductions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting tight deadlines.
