Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare complex financial statements and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and support the external audit process (local and federal).
- Monitor budget vs. actuals and provide insightful variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to maintain healthy cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA/MBA) preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting (Big 4 experience a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
