Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
