Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Coordinate internal and external audits, providing requested documentation promptly
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in high-pressure environments
