Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ corporate clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and compliance reports
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with SOX compliance
- Develop and implement process improvements using advanced Excel modeling
- Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities during examinations
- Mentor junior accountants and oversee team deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and financial modeling
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
- Active NC CPA license required
