Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support external audits and internal control reviews.
- Process payroll and manage benefits administration.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment.
