Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Implement and optimize internal controls to enhance financial processes
- Prepare tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
