Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
