Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to provide insights to senior management.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger functions, and reconciliation procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
