Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
