Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the external audit team to facilitate the annual audit process.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide financial forecasting to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
